“At a very young age I had passion for helping others and a strong desire to pursue a career in the medical field (and never missed an episode of ER). After working several years in surgical intensive care I found a deep connection with my patients and their families. I wanted to continue helping those patients improve first hand rather than just assisting with their transfer care. Through my own struggle with unexplained infertility and interstitial cystitis, I realized my true calling. After completing my bachelor’s at MUW there was no other school to consider but Vanderbilt. I was so impressed with the program and its leaders, and still have no doubts I received the best education in the country. Serving the women of North Mississippi for over 8 years has been nothing short of a dream come true! The relationships I have developed as patients and their families have placed their confidence and trust in my decisions has given me immense pride. I consider myself tremendously blessed to serve my community at Remedy Aesthetics and Wellness.”
At Remedy Aesthetics and Wellness, Rachel specializes in hormone optimization utilizing bioidentical hormone pellets for both male and female patients, as well as facial rejuvenation through the injection of neuromodulators and dermal fillers. Lauren Miller
Medical Aesthetician
Lauren Miller is widely celebrated as a remarkable aesthetician and laser technician. A native of Tupelo, Lauren’s career in this field began serendipitously in late 2006 when she relocated to Atlanta to support her husband’s culinary school pursuits.
While searching for a fulfilling career path, Lauren started working at a plastic surgeon’s office, where she discovered her true passion for medical aesthetics. Encouraged by the physician, she attended aesthetic school in the evenings and embarked on a year-long, hands-on training program with laser devices under the practice physician’s guidance. After earning her aesthetic license from the Georgia Board of Cosmetology, Lauren joined the esteemed Dermatology Consultants, working alongside Atlanta’s leading cosmetic dermatologist, Dr. Anna Paré. There, she gained exposure to cutting-edge technology and received a laser license from the Georgia State Composite Medical Board.
In 2017, following the birth of her daughter, Lauren and her husband Cooper returned to Mississippi. Facing an uncertain aesthetic market in Tupelo, Lauren embraced a remarkable opportunity as a clinical educator for Merz Pharmaceuticals. This role allowed her to travel across the country, training med spas, plastic surgeons, and dermatology practices on advanced ultrasound lifting devices.
After spending four years as the lead aesthetician at a prestigious practice in Oxford, MS, and accumulating 17 years of expertise in medical aesthetics, Lauren is now practicing at Remedy Aesthetics and Wellness, where she thrives on bringing the latest aesthetic treatments and highest level of care to her community. Lauren eagerly anticipates sharing her extensive knowledge and passion with her patients, providing them with a bespoke experience that helps them achieve their unique skin goals.
Janet Ventura
Massage Therapist
With over 18 years of combined experience in the beauty and wellness industries, Janet Ventura brings a wealth of expertise to Remedy Aesthetics and Wellness. Dual licensed in both massage therapy and cosmetology, Janet has dedicated 6 years to perfecting her craft as a massage therapist and an impressive 12 years to the art of cosmetology.
Janet’s holistic approach integrates her deep understanding of therapeutic techniques with her passion for aesthetic care, offering clients a comprehensive and rejuvenating experience. Joining the team four years ago, MK Michael has been a cornerstone of our office, driven by her dedication to enhancing patient lives and supporting her talented team of providers. With a strong background in sales and customer service, MK seamlessly integrates her expertise into managing the clinic’s daily operations and enhancing patient experience. MK plays a pivotal role in coordinating office activities, managing schedules, and supporting the team.
