Alisha Parham is a family nurse practitioner nationally certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Since the age of 12, Alisha knew she wanted to work in the medical field. She had a passion for helping others and decided that pursuing a career in nursing would allow her to fulfill that passion. Alisha began her nursing career in 2004 when she became a registered nurse graduating from Mississippi University for Women. She worked in neurology, neonatal intensive care, and pediatrics before deciding to further her career and completing her Master of Science Degree from Simmons College in 2016. Over the past six years, she has provided primary and acute care to a large patient population while helping them achieve their health and wellness goals.

 

Alisha specializes in hormone optimization using bioidentical hormone pellets and facial rejuvenation through the injection of neuromodulators and dermal fillers. She strongly advocates for overall wellness, “investing in yourself, and making yourself a priority.” She understands that your face is the first thing people see when they look at you and how this can affect your self-confidence if you are uncomfortable with your appearance. Alisha was voted one of Monroe County’s top nurse practitioners for three years in a row. One of her greatest strengths is the ability to listen to the needs of her clients and help them create a plan that solves their problems together.
